About me
I’m Tracy, a UX generalist and graduate student at UC Santa Cruz studying Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).
I consider myself to be a UX generalist because of my professional and academic experiences in research and self-taught skills in design. I'm a systematic, logical problem-solver that places intuition at the core of all of my work, and I believe in technology that doesn't make users think too hard.
I have been involved academically and professionally in the healthcare industry for a few years: from doing geriatric research at UCSF, to briefly attending a Digital Health Informatics graduate program, to now being the first to do UX work at my company in telemedicine.
